10 FACTS ABOUT HART DARZI

1. Despite having a well-deserved reputation as a man-whore (former), Hart prefers being in a relationship to random sex. However, most of the time he doesn’t care enough about the relationship for them to last terribly long. There have been few notable exceptions.

2. At one point or another, Hart has lived in or visited every country in Thedas, except Par Vollen, Seheron, and the Tevinter Imperium.

3. At a very young age, Hart was bitten multiple times by a very large dog. He refused to come down from a tree for quite awhile before his father finally gave up and climbed the tree to get him. It left a rather deep impact on him, to say the least. Not to mention a bad infection. He frequently had dogs siced on him while he was in the templars.

4. Hart’s siblings are named Arent, Duke, Cynthia, and Emory. His parents are named Fortuna and Ridgely. They are all 2 years apart in age or less.

5. Hart is very nostalgic concerning items from his past. The first time he took off Avery’s Silver Sword of Mercy in 12 years was when he gave it to Mihitu. He kept every single letter he received from his cousin Anabela and his Aunt Blair while in the templars. And reads them often.

6. Hart’s sword, Anna, is named after his cousin Anabela, who he has always been close with. He received the sword as a gift from his parents upon reaching Knighthood at 20. It was the first time his father ever told him that he was proud of him. That was the last time Hart spoke to his parents face to face.

7.       Hart is very much a night owl and has always preferred late nights to early mornings. However, being with Mihitu has slowly pulled him to more normal hours.

8. Hart’s favorite color is red. His birthday is the first of Firstfall.  His favorite food is potatoes.

9. Hart has a thing for blondes and elves. And blond elves. Though, due to circumstance and the way things go, he’s been with a rather even mixture of elves and humans. He’s never had a dwarven lover that he was sober enough to remember.

QUESTIONS TO ANSWER

1. What's the stupidest thing you've ever gotten away with?

Setting fire to the Grand Cleric. Long story. It got blamed on someone else, thankfully. Ceremonial robes are surprisingly flammable. At least I didn’t throw ceremonial wine on her in an attempt to put her out.

2. What's your favorite pickup line?

Oh I know and have so many that I can’t pick a favorite. But my favorite involve cringeworthy puns. I have a certain fondness for ‘Want to polish my sword?’

I think one day I will publish a book. It will be titled ‘1000 and 1 Sword puns.’

“Nice night for an evening” is one I have a special fondness for reasons.

3. How many powdered mini donuts can you fit in your mouth at once?

At least 8. Let’s not lie here. I got a big mouth. And I like sweet things. Insert your own charming, innuendo filled joke from that. Something about sweet white things and stuffing my mouth full of it.

4. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

My father. Only until I got older did I start to turn into him. It’s eerie, to say the least. I’m starting to turn grey around my temples, even. I have never had thoughts of hair dye up until this point, but the prospect of hitting 45 and being all grey is not the most appealing reality, but an unavoidable one.

Mihitu is very unsympathetic to my plight, to say the least.

5. Who do you consider to be your best friend?

If the question is merely friendship, then that spot easily goes to my occasionally thick headed but always loyal and entertaining cousin, Lysandro. He was the first bit of family I found in 10 years. I know if I’m ever in a fight, he’ll always have my back. I couldn’t ask for a better friend.

However, if you’re asking me who my favorite person in the entire world is, it would be the love of my life, Mihitu. I…there is truly no one else out there like him. And I do not know where I would be without him. At risk of sounding cheesy, he is my heart and soul. I couldn’t ask for a better companion and lover. No relationship is perfect, but he’s perfect for me.

6. If you could have a super/magic power, what would it be?

Mind-reading. Because sometimes…

7. What is your favorite mode of transport?

Horse, without a doubt. Fast, and charming company.

Peace and happiness for me and my family.

9. Do you prefer being hot or cold?

Oh I much prefer getting hot and steamy. Shouldn’t that be obvious?

But no, really. I hate the cold. …well, it has its advantages. Mihitu’s cuddly.

10. What is a talent you have that not many people know about?

Well, I can sing. But it’s not really something I do often. Well…at least when there are people who aren’t Mihitu around. I…haven’t really sang in any serious way in many years. I only really know the Chant. I only know but a few songs. But I’m learning.
